Happy Meal gets a Pikachu makeover
When you order a Happy Meal between now and September 6, the box will be Pikachu themed.
Pikachu is a yellow squirrel who is an Electric type Pokémon and one of the most popular in the franchise.
McDonald’s has given its iconic red boxes a Pikachu makeover, turning them into the much-loved character.
The adorable box is bright yellow in colour and has Pikachu’s famous ears on top which you can pop out yourself.
As well as that, the character’s cute eyes, red cheeks and mouth are printed on the front.
McDonald’s Pokémon Happy Meal toys
Unlike most Happy Meal promotions, the Pokémon one doesn’t have a range of different toys and every person gets the same thing in each box.
Every Happy Meal contains four trading cards, a spinner, a gold coin and a card box. This is a Match Battle set that gives you everything you need to play a card game.
On the cards, you’ll find Pokémon friends like Pikachu, Rowlet and Gossifleur which help you play a two player trading game.
An instruction sheet is included and there is also an essential handbook where you can read lots of Pokémon facts and trivia.
