General Manager of the Shreveport Barksdale Hwy McDonalds, Billy Riley, receives the 2022 Ray Kroc Award at Worldwide Convention.
The award was established in 1999 and recognizes ” restaurant managers that stand as true gamechangers” and is given to the top 1% of performing McDonald’s restaurant mangers globally.
From spearheading top performing teams, investing time to hone skills and build tomorrow’s managers to introducing new formats of experiences, these managers go above and beyond the call of duty.
“This is an honor,” said Riley. “It was a 13-year career dream fulfilled. Starting as a crew member to where I am now. There are so many people from the Patel organization who have led me to this place in my career. I am honored and grateful.”

Riley was one of 380 McDonald’s restaurant managers to receive the honor that includes a $2,500 cash prize from McDonald’s Corporation, a $2,500 cash prize from franchise owner Ajay Patel and a trophy.
The winners were awarded at the Ray Kroc Awards celebration at the McDonald’s Worldwide Convention in Orlando, FL. Riley was recognized for his hands-on leadership, unmatched enthusiasm and help in training new managers at nearby restaurants.

He has made an impact on many people’s lives, both in his restaurant and in our organization.
