McDonald’s is stepping outside the box with the addition of its new Boseong Green Tea Pork Burger, but it’s only available in South Korea, according to a Chewboom report.
The sandwich features pork sourced from hogs that have been fed fermented green tea. The result is a pork patty that is leaner and less greasy.
The Boseong Green Tea Pork Burger features a Boseong nokdon pork patty topped with a spicy cheese sauce, Korean cabbage, bacon, red onion and mayonnaise. The burger is sold as part of McDonald’s Taste of Korea promotion and costs 6,300 South Korean won, or roughly $4.81 U.S. dollars.
