SPC Paris Baguette announced on Jan. 30 that it has opened its 100th franchised store in the United States.
Paris Baguette has opened the Red Bank store in Monmouth County in the U.S. state of New Jersey. It is planning to sign 160 additional franchise deals this year and aims to open 1,000 stores across the United States by 2030.
Paris Baguette stores in the United States account for about 85 percent of its franchise stores. It has successfully settled in key commercial districts of major U.S. cities, such as Times Square, Midtown, Upper West Side in Manhattan, New York, and downtown L.A.
Since Paris Baguette first entered the United States in 2005, it has opened 120 stores from coast to coast. In particular, last year, it ranked 25th in the Top 500 Franchise Companies selected by the Franchise Times in the United States. It took the highest place among Korean companies in the standings.
Currently, Paris Baguette is running a total of 450 stores in nine countries, including the United States and China.
