Carstar was founded in 1989 and began franchising that same year. Carstar is one of the largest networks of collision repair businesses. It has 650 locations in the U.S. and Canada.

Brand President: Brad Roberson
Glass Doctor, founded in 1962, serves the window repair industry and has been franchising since 1977. Glass Doctor has more than 150 franchises in the United States.
Entrepreneur comprised its list using an adjusted Franchise 500 formula that gave extra weight to international size and growth. Other areas of evaluation include costs and fees, franchisee support, brand strength, and financial strength and stability.
