PALM BEACH GARDENS — With the completion of a new 61,000-square-foot office building on its sprawling Palm Beach Gardens campus, TBC Corp. will operate with all of its nearly 700 corporate employees in one place.
TBC is a marketer of automotive replacement tires and the parent company to Tire Kingdom, NTB Tire & Service Centers and the franchise brands Midas and Big O Tires. It opened the four-story TBC South building last month.
The new building joins the TBC West and TBC Central buildings on the company’s 1.5 acres off PGA Boulevard and Professional Center Drive.
TBC West is 44,381 square feet and opened in 2012. TBC Central is 9,910 square feet and opened several years later.
Corporate employees working out of the company’s Juno Beach office will join their colleagues in Palm Beach Gardens at TBC South, though they are moving into the building in a phased approach amid the coronavirus pandemic, said Erik R. Olsen, TBC’s president and chief executive.

“The new building and the move with all Florida corporate associates on the same campus will further enhance our workplace environment that promotes, supports and facilitates teamwork that has been a focus of ours for many years now,” Olsen said.
“When it is safe to do so, it will be great to have all Florida corporate team members on the same campus.”
TBC Corp., founded in 1956 by a small purchasing group of tire retailers in Dayton, Ohio, has grown to become one of the largest marketers of automotive replacement tires in North America, the company said.
It serves wholesale customers in the United States, Canada and Mexico as well as retail customers through more than 3,200 franchised and company-operated tire and automotive service centers.

Its Palm Beach Gardens headquarters includes the 5,830-square-foot state-of-the-art TBC Learning Center, which opened last October in the TBC Central building.
The center, which serves as a forum for learning and innovation in a classroom environment, features electronic whiteboards, high-definition video cameras, 4K laser projectors and Cisco Webex Boards.
It’s open to all of TBC’s 10,000 employees, no matter their location or business unit, Olsen said.
The new TBC South building, completed two months ahead of schedule, will house various departments.
It includes 89 private offices, 10 conference rooms, a café, a mail center, and 77 pieces of artwork ranging from vintage brand dealerships to the latest images of TBC locations.
Last year, TBC Corp. was named one of the 50 most engaged workplaces in North America by Achievers, a Toronto-based employee engagement platform provider. Other winners included AT&T, General Motors, Kellogg Co., Marriott International and Williams-Sonoma.
